01
Phone triage
You call (844) 796-4282 and describe the symptoms: no heat, short cycling, strange smells, or a system that will not ignite. We ask about the age and brand of your unit, then book a same-day or next-morning slot. Most Hunters creek calls get a two-hour arrival window.
02
In-home assessment
A NATE-certified tech inspects the furnace, ductwork, gas line, and thermostat. We run a multimeter on the control board, check the blower motor, and look for duct leakage. You get a written recommendation with two or three equipment options at different price points.
03
Load calculation and sizing
We measure square footage, window orientation, and insulation values to run a proper Manual J load calculation. Oversized furnaces short-cycle and waste gas; undersized ones never catch up. Getting this right is the difference between a 10-year system and a 20-year system.
04
Removal and installation
We shut off gas, recover any refrigerant if a coil is involved, and disconnect the old unit. The new furnace goes in with fresh copper tubing, sealed plenum connections, and a new air filter. Most installs take four to six hours. We protect floors and haul everything away.
05
Commissioning and walkthrough
We fire the furnace, check static pressure, verify temperature rise against the data plate, and test the thermostat through a full cycle. Then we walk you through filter changes, thermostat programming, and the warranty paperwork. You sign off only when the heat is running right.
